Description:
Usher in the festival of Shavuot, celebrating the Giving of the Torah, with a night of learning and cheesecake. The 8:00PM class with with Rabbi Eric Yanoff is "Hey - Did I See You at Sinai?" - Recalling versus Retelling, and the Importance of Memory. At 9:00 is the Maariv Service, followed by Oneg Yom Tov (cheesecake). Rabbi Rick Libovitz presents the 9:45-to-10:30 class: "Being 'Whys': A Different Four Questions." Participants will also discover why it's traditional to eat dairy products on Shavuot.
